Other names include: Scarlet Ball cactus, Parodia Haselbergii, Notocactus Haselbergii Brasilicactus Haselbergii is a very popular cactus with silvery white spines and a heavy bloomer that may sport showy bright orange flowers for a long time frame. This can be a solitary, fast growing, little cactus. The crown of the plant is regularly set at an angle to prevent water-sitting.
Flowering Season The bright to brick red flowers bloom heavily from January – March and each and every can last one to three weeks.
Water: Like most cacti they are drought tolerant and need very little care and attention to grow well. It can reinforce reasonably some water throughout the growing season. Allow the pot to dry out between watering.
Soil Mixture: Use of equal mixture of garden soil, sand and well decayed cow manure would make a very good compost media for growing this variety of cacti or a free draining cacti mix
Sun Exposure: Bright but partially filtered sunlight will keep the cacti happier, subject to sunburn if exposed to direct sun for too long.
