It is known for its sweet, edible fruit that is frequently used in cooking and baking. The Common Fig plant grows to a height of around 30 feet and has a thick, sturdy trunk. Its leaves are large and oval shaped, and the tree produces small, yellow flowers that eventually turn out to be the edible fig fruit.

Soil: As already mentioned, the anjeer plant grows well in well-draining soil that contains a whole lot of organic matter. To prepare the best soil for plant growth of the anjeer, enrich the soil with well-rotted manure or compost-rich soil. You’ll also incorporate an Ugaoo organic potting mix.
Fertiliser. It would help if you fertilised anjeer plants often to produce healthy growth and abundant fruit. Use a balanced, slow-release fertiliser in the spring and again in the summer. Avoid over-fertilising, which may end up in excessive leaf growth and fewer anjeer fruit.
As a result of its therapeutic benefits, anjeer has traditionally been used in medicines for the remedy of more than a few conditions such as cardiovascular disorders, colic, loss of appetite, indigestion and diarrhoea (gastrointestinal disorders), cough, sore throat, bronchial problems (respiratory disorders).
